Anybody looking at geting a new book loaded with information from choosing the right scope to help you calculate what size of CCD camera is best for your scope and a ton of WEB-SITE from manufacturers to suppliers, THIS BOOK IS IT! With its 400 plus pages of info, you can't go wrong. I thought I knew which camera was the best until I started to read this book. To make a long story short, in all the books that I have read over the years, none gave me as much information on all types of equipment related to Astronomy. The $35 dollars Canadian that I paid for this book, is the best investment that I have made for Astronomy literature.

I browsed through an edition at the local bookstore tonight. Several good pieces of information. The chapter on eyepieces was outstanding!! It's on my Christmas list (boss told me not to buy anything else, Christmas is coming)
Highly recomended.
