I think 3_D printing technology will be more revolutionary to Industry than the introduction of the assembly line.

It just has mind boggling potential across the board from food production to micro assembly.

I'm waiting for one of these here hobbyists to build their next telescope using 3D printing.

In the meantime, maybe we can build a sugar rocket motor using a 3D printer at home.

As I posted at the bottom of this thread the laser sintering patent will expire soon and
this tech will DROP in price. Then printing metal scope parts will be cheaper. Maybe even lenses/mirrors .
