Bright meteor sighting... Pic and Video...

Our club was contacted by the local newspaper to comment on the meteor from Aug 2nd. We checked the all sky camera and found it. Slow moving and very bright.

My initial impression from viewing the video is that the object was re-entering space junk. Its motion is relatively slow and, in particular, its duration of visibility exceptionally long. These are typical characteristics for a re-entry event.

I'm not much into following Earth satellite news and re-entry predictions, so I'm unable to offer a potential identity for the object, but I'm sure someone here can.
