Nikon D3100

I want to take photo's of the moon with my D3100,I have a 2" 2x GSO barlow. Can I use that with a T ring? or do I need something else also?
I have a XT8 classic,

You will need a t-adapter that screws onto your t-ring.

Camera -> T-Ring -> T-Adapter -> Barlow (optional) -> Telescope
