Software to park AP mount? new
      #6064850 - 09/05/13 05:11 PM

Does anyone know of a free software solution that I can use to park my AP Mach 1? My intent is to be able to park it from a remotely opened computer screen. I really just need to stop the tracking, but I figure parking it would be a good practice.

Is there something in the ASCOM driver that would let me do this?

It should be in A-P V2 ASCOM driver from Astro-Physics web site.

I have the driver, but I'm not sure how to open it. I've used it, but only to set the COM port and hook it up to astrotortilla and stellarium.

Is "Park" an option in properties when I'm setting up the driver?

It looks like you need to run any ASCOM application (like PHD) software to load/open ASCOM mount specific driver.

OK. That's what I thought. I also just realized that if you hit exp[and more then once, you get a different screen. That will work perfectly for me. Wish I figured it out earlier.
