M13 2nd astro photo ever
      #6072354 - 09/09/13 11:23 PM

my first attempt was M31, and my f10 scope did a closeup of the core. So I tried something that fit better and was easier.

M13 75 lights 20 seconds at 800 iso, 20 darks, and 20 bias

I thought I could get more color in some of the stars many looked bluer as I took the shots.

I did some PS stuff, just followed some tips I found on YouTube.

Much better than what I expected for a 2nd image. You are off to a great start.

Kind regards,

Wouter.

Yep, nice shot. You can make out the "propeller" or Mercedes
symbol on the left side.

I was concerned when I ran DSS is was only finding 14 or 15 stars at 2% as low as I could set the threshold and I find that hard to believe when I looked at he pre stacked photos.
