I've never used that. Backyard Red is a free program that has worked pretty well for me in the past.

I have used both of these programs and many more. None that I have used work 100% of the time. Pop ups come up on top of the red screen on both of these programs. I prefer the color/transparency of the RedScreen program over the Backyard program, but neither work sufficiently for me. In the Panagiotis Xipteras RedScreen program When you open some windows, the red screen goes away completely. The only sure fire way that I have found to guaranty a full time red screen that won't jeopardize your night vision is Rubylith film.

Thanks Stan - I'll run some Rubylith down for the next Star Party.

Another issue is that no red screen program can sufficiently dim the screen to avoid affecting your dark adaptation, there light coming from the screen even when the screen is supposedly black. If one really wants to maintain their dark adaptation, the rubylith is required.

transparent red plexiglas acrylic is more durable than rubylith. It can be found in sign supply stores. I simply velcro a sheet of it to the front of my monitor.
