You may need to sell it someday, and people who buy telescopes are picky. Besides, you'll always be wondering if your scope could be even better. I believe in being nice, but when you buy something new, you expect it to be in pretty much perfect condition. Don't do anybody any favors at your own expense, at least not for businesses. Send it back and get one that is just right.
