Who seen this one?? I was obseving in central Ohio last night 9/27/13 11:33 pm when all of a sudden it was daylight everywhere for about 2 sec. THE BEST fireball I've seen in my life time

Btw, the report on Spaceweather says it was a meter class object, thats about the size of a clothes dryer or washing machine
I would have to think that some meteorites hit the ground.

I haven't heard any chatter about this one on the Meteor Obs. mailing list yet, other than the initial reports. If there is any chance of meteorites on the ground, Galactic Analytics (no affiliation to me) should be releasing the numbers soon. They utilize doppler radar returns to measure the chances of meteorites falling, how big they might be, and how many there might be. The only caveat is that the fall must happen in an area with doppler coverage, which most populated areas are.

Thanks! Mike, keep us posted on any new info..
I hope there was a fall, it was believed to been a meter class object and the ground path was right near Columbus Ohio.
