M31 colors okay?
      #6121015 - 10/06/13 05:35 PM Attachment (16 downloads)

I have some new data from end of September and finally had some time to process it. I believe it might be too blue, but before that it was too violet.
I did some enhancements in DSS before moving it to Photoshop.
55 subs of 74 seconds unguided ISO 2000
60 darks, 20 flats and offsets
Canon 60da with ES 102
Processed with Deep Sky Stacker and Photoshop.
Advice welcomed.

JazzSky:

I took this into photoshop and used color adjustment. I then adjusted both the shadows and midtones, starting with shadows first. I came up with this.

Wow that looks great thanks. Shadows and mid tones I'm working to get a handle on but color adjustment I hadn't even thought of. Every time I work on an image I learn more and realize how much more I still need to learn.
Thanks for your help and guidance.
Alan

I am working on this one too - a lot to learn. Same experience with the colors.
