It's like the SE mount was made for the R130sf. It is perfectly balanced, but I use larger premium 1.25 & 2" EPs (Baader, ES, Ethos) and I have not had any clearance problems with the mount. I use the mount with the legs extended and it is more stable with this set up than it is with the C8 OTA. GoTos and tracking are perfect. I also use 70mm & 80mm refractors and a C6 on this mount as well. The R130sf is one of my favorites on this mount.
Here's a 6" newt on an SLT mount on a Hal 130 tripod. The scope is 30" long and will not go above 78 degrees before it hits the tripod but the SLT handles the 6" newt with no problems so I would think the SE mount should be ok for a 6" newt.
