Samsung 2000 problems?
      #6139435 - 10/15/13 04:50 PM

I think I may have a bad electrical connection. I can see the wires have pulled out a little. This is what I am experiencing: I get an image but it shimmers all the time. It looks like it crackling like little firecrackers. I am also getting vertical lines in the lighter areas of the image. What could cause these problems. I am imaging the Sun in HA filters with a Coranado PST. Thanks for any help.

One of my 435 has intermittent, similar issues; it looks to an problem with the BNC connecttor or BNC to RCA, in my case.

I've had similar problems. I simply use contact cleaner to straighten them out. Worked for me
