My wife and I went to Okie-Tex for the first time and had a blast. We were there from Thursday - Sunday. We missed the aurora but had a couple of nice nights. My Flickr album for the event is mostly just us running around the area and not a ton (any, really) of astrophotography, but I'll post it here anyway. Click the picture for the full set.

Thanks for sharing and taking the time to add commentary! I like camp life photos. I think it is a part of the experience.

Cheers!

We stayed Saturday to Thursday and had a great time. Best Sky's I have ever been under. Nailed the HH with my 17.5 dob. Did not expect that, was hoping for the Flame which was relatively easy.

Nice video Joe! I'm in it for 2 or 3 seconds at the 6:12 mark.

Very nice job, Joe. I saw lots of my TSP buddies. I definitely want to make it back there next year. Been too long since I was there.

Received my observing certificate today in the mail. Looks nice. They printed in the wrong names of the lists we were given, though. Two For One and Glob Trot were names of two lists from last year.

I could swear I was seeing the Veil Nebula with naked eyes. Must have been averted imagination...
