It is still available for purchase though. Looks like a nice atlas, just too much $ for me.

I believe he stated only 100 were printed. The odds of him being able to sell another 100 so soon after the first printing, is probably 25% OF SELLING THE FIRST 100.

It is very detailed with lots of info, but print is small to accomodate detail. Book is large an heavy, but does allow you to easily remove individual sheets and has one plastic sheet holder. I have used i at home but not in the field yet.

I didn't realize that only 100 were ever printed. Now I'm even more happy to have gotten one, as it's an outstanding effort likely to never be repeated again by anyone!

Mine? I keep it safe in the house, using it only in the house, as I see it as being irreplaceable. Especially once Agena sells out whatever stock they have left!

Only 100? That's a little surprising. I would've guessed 1000...

Rob you are right, just before is final mega sale, Piotr write to me that he sold 800 GAOTS. So I presume that he printed 1000.

Thanks for the info. Even 1000 isn't very much. I doubt that another one with as many stars will ever be printed. I also would've bought a Sky GX if it had ever been published...

I ordered a GAOTS from Piotr last year when he was selling them for $100. It's a beautiful atlas and I'm very glad I was able to get one.

Ooops! My Bad. I misread the post I was responding to, and thought that he was saying that only 100 were originally published, when he was actually referring to the first 100 published.

I get ahead of myself sometimes...

But, I'm still glad I got one!

A great atlas, mine is used indoors only, a good study (better than TV and much cheaper). I bought two of these atlases, one for use and one for the future. Waiting for them to hit $55,000 on Amazon, then sell my extra for $50,000, a savings of $5,000, a very good deal!! :-)

Or more likely will give to a friend of mine as a surprise gift.

The atlas is an opportunity in life, not be passed up.

I keep my copy in the house also. I look at it as beautiful as a well-printed book of great paintings. I really could not afford to buy it when I did but I am glad I did.
Clear skies and clean glass,
Mike
