NGC 7331 & Stephans quintet new
      #6199838 - 11/17/13 12:23 PM Attachment (31 downloads)

Hello to all fellow members of CN, sent my sketch of NGC 7331 & Stephans quintet, the actual field belongs to Ethos 13 with a 97x increase in my power and visuality could faint galaxies group but needed more power, I asked for help to a friend to lend me the Ethos eyepiece 10 and ends with this sketch here the quintet. It was difficult to see the object, but if you need to draw and use a dim red light to avoid dazzling the eye. The night with a half-transparency in a place with Bortle 3/9 NELM 6.2 rural skies Pegasus area and 21.2 SQM
I enjoyed this purpose, it is not so difficult to visualize as discussed, and effortless image, side vision used only to gain detail.
Sorry about the image size to reduce more, lose a lot of quality in the picture and could not stop smaller.

Regards.

Roberto.

Great sketch. I like NGC 7331 and Stephan's Quintet in the same field. There is another similar group of galaxies located symmetrically to Stephan's Quintet on the other side of NGC 7331, but I don't know if any telescope and eyepiece combination will show all three groups at once.

Thank you all for your comments, I enjoyed the sketch taste like in my observation.
IVM says these galaxies near NGC 7331 was seen after a friend taught me where to look, but not in this sketch.

Sorry for my English as it is not very good.

Regards.

I got it! Nice catch; that other group is less frequently observed.

Hi! the quintet was visible without problems, I think I galaxies are NGC 7335 comets 7337 also had such concentration in the quintet that went unnoticed when doing the sketch, but as I said before a friend told me fijate in these galaxies close to 7331 .

Regards.
