Tpo imaging reflector new
      #6228038 - 12/01/13 09:51 PM

I was looking on optcorp.com and saw the tpo third planet optics 6in imaging reflector. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with it and would share their opinions about it. It looks nice with an f4 610mm focal length. It has a 2in dual rate 10:1 focuser. A 8 by 50 finder scope, and vixen style dovetail mount with it. And it's only 300 dollars! That's a good price i'd say.

It probably comes from the same plant as the Orion and Astro-Tech imaging newtonians. It is more like the Astro-Tech than the Orion (the latter has some minor improvements like relocated collimation locking bolts, and a reinforcing plate under the focuser - at least for the 8" model).
