Horsehead through willow ! new
      #6303748 - 01/10/14 09:22 AM Attachment (30 downloads)

My neighbour's massive willow tree blocks my SE sky and the Horsehead is only accessable when just rising or nearly 3hrs later when it crosses the meridian and clears the tree.

But now in winter the tree is bare of leaves - my pic below from last night in 60s [=3x20s] was through the tree's fine tracery which slightly blurred and reduced the starlight but still with good results

Congratulations! Now if you could just get a nice gas powered tree filter that would remove the offending willow, think of the great views you'd have then!
