Binotron-27 so far, continued! new

Following carefully Russ' collimation instructions for my 8SE, plus the shortening of the light path as Ed has suggested, I succeeded in getting the best view of Jupiter I ever have tonight, despite 8° F temperature and wind chills around 0° F.
The setup easily took the highest power the eyepieces and the Power Switch offered. Thanks to Ed and Russ!

One thing--if you happen to be in my area and see an a** wandering around by itself, its mine. I froze it off!

Ah, great news! Happy to hear that you are getting great views!

When you get it all dialed in, you can get fantastic results with BVs.

Sounds like you are in the zone!
