Just exploring some of the options for sketching and today, purchased some of the Staedler Karat Aquarell colored pencils. (Mine are white and gray and other) Curious if others are using these for lunar sketching on black paper. Also, does anyone know what the G4, D4, and M4 stampings on the sides stand for? Both my green and white pencils are marked G4.

I used the white, gray, and dark gray conte pastel pencils on black paper and it works really well with a blending stump. I'm not sure with the letters and numbers.

Be sure to share your work.

Good Luck.
