May 08th sun sketch new

Hi.

Another beautiful sun this morning with very good conditions. The small arc at 8:30 o'clock was very bright and active. On first look at 80X, I thought it was on the limb but when I zoomed, I clearly saw it was emerging from the surface to the limb. So I did a close up of it.

Andre.

Andre,

Excellent observations of the solar surface and delicate prominences. The detailed inset of the looping prominence is very interesting. Thank you for sharing it with us all.

Regards,
Carlos

Nice sketches, both are impressives!
The sunspot AR2056, probably your close up, unleashed a brillant M5-class solar flare on May 8th at 1007 UT.

Andre,
The close up is just breathtaking. One of the best I have ever seen.

Ken

Thank you very much guys.

Ken... I appreciate your comment but to me its not the best one, I did some more complex structures than this one. If you like this one, its okay for me.

Andre.

Andre,
It looks alive so much. I was just enthralled by your capture of our star. Your skill shows so very well. I am always admiring your work. Nice job my friend.
