Lucky Saturn new
      #6588557 - 06/18/14 06:36 AM Attachment (218 downloads)

Hi All,
On June 15th 2014 I was lucky to have a short period with very good seeing conditions, having in mind that the planet culminated at only 24.
The result with all the info is herewith included.
Best regards.
Leo Aerts

Very nice image especially with the altitude. Definitely shows how much of an impact seeing has on the end results.

That's truly wonderful. I have yet to experience seeing good enough to capture Encke's....

That's a nice sharp image, the cassini division looks clean, and I see other ring detail as well.

A fine result for any altitude, but absolutely stunning for only 24! Nicely done!

Leo,

As always your work is impeccable! Having been a fan of your Galilean moons images I'm looking forward to seeing you do Titan!

Pete

Hello Pete,
This is an imaging result of Titan, last year 2013, May with the C14, also at low altitude.
The 0"8 disc was clearly imaged.
Best regards.
Leo Aerts
