Boca Grande North & Scorpius new
      #6599828 - 06/24/14 05:30 PM Attachment (29 downloads)

Used my 18mm-55mm kit lens on a fixed tripod to capture this on my last day of vacation at Boca Grande. To the lower left is Ft. Myers. Follow the channel markers to Uncle Henry's Marina. If you look closely you can see the entire constellation of Scorpius. I know it's not the best processing job but it was fun to sit on a pitch black boat dock and listen to the Snook destroy some fry bait that was close by.

Beautiful picture. Did you stay at the first condos after the toll bridge?

Tarpon Capitol of the World! I spend a lot of time down there in the summer off and on. FYI, Tarpon are loaded at Egmont Key and the Skyway bridge.

I got a couple nice snook spots real close to those condos. I'll be trying them out this weekend as a matter of fact.

This has turned into a fishing thread

Sorry!

Not a huge Snook but caught it close to where the original starscape was taken.
