Uh, feeling slightly humbled after that last one!

But here's an animation I've just finished from the night of 040228. Showing Io beginning a transit, the GRS, Ganymede out to the right, and Europa emerging from behind the planet at the end

Taken with a Vixen VC200L, a ToUcam Pro 740k and a 2x Barlow (giving f18),
from Harrow, UK. All images recorded @ 10fps, approximately 250 frames stacked for each image.

Here's my entry. Lots of parameters to get what I wanted in this picture and I failed them all:). Info below

Burton Wright
~6:00 UT 14 Mar. 2004
Io Transit Egress (almost) with Shadow transit and Europa and Ganymede
--not a composite, but Europa and Ganymede were desaturated selectively, since they refused to be anything but green.

120mm Orion Skyview Pro Refractor (no fitlers); 3x barlow
Logitech QuickcamPro 4000: 1/5 sec., B=50%, G=33%, S=50%,
Freezed Auto WB
427/427 frames stacked w/Registax 2
Processing in the GIMP (unsharp, gamma, levels, gb, rotate, etc.)
