Hi folks, Thought I'd finally get around to creating this thread. If you have any links of interest that are specifically for reflectors of any type, please post them here. This one was added in the new "beginners Forum" and is an excellent link for step-by-step collimation of an XT8 newtonian OTA.

Definitely recommended reading for someone just learning to collimate there newt. In his article, it might be advantageous to add Stacy's grid paper in place of the orange background paper to aid in correct placement of the physical secondary mirror/holder...maybe one of his colors (orange, neon green or neo yellow) with a grid on it.
