That looks really nice Carol. Didn't I read somewhere here that you're out of Missoula someplace? I spent some time around Superior and also around Philipsburg one year, but that was a long time ago.

Ken, Thats exactly what happened !! I tried to resist but just couldn't do it ! It really is neat when you have a few friends or family that want to view and they get to see some of the entire sky. Wayne

Very unique "dome" ! We can design and build anything to do the job in this country! Now we just need some leaders in Washington to wake up.Very nice setup indeed. Wayne

John....Here's pictures of my observatory before the total restoration of my scopes were finished. Envision if you will the only ventilation gap in my observayory is the 1/2" void between the steel channel and the interior skirtboards that hide the castors. The only other space is the patio doors that open on the sides of the breezeway that connects the observatory to the walk out lower level of our home. The ceilings are finished off with 1/4" AC plywood as well as the four gabled ends of my split transverse roof. The "attic" space is ventillated with four gable louver vents. Things do not get hot but are warm and I have absolutely no condensation problems. I did this to keep things as neat and clean...void of wasps and spider nests. Plus when the roofs are closed it looks just like another room to my home with a big scope in the middle of it. Mike
