      #934924 - 04/30/06 12:21 PM

Haven't viewed in two days, weather forcast do's not look good for the next 5 days. I can't stand it. There must be an opening somewhere in the clouds. I need to go viewing! AHHHH !

Many feel your pain.
Brace yourself for 2 week, or even 2 month withdrawals.
Stargazing in the MidWest is a privilege, not a right.

I get my Virtual fix cruising the cosmos at Celestia.
Lots of DSO talent in the CN imaging/photo forums, too.

Hang in there,

I feel your pain

I just went about 4 months without a trip to dark skies. During that time I had about a half dozen nights in the backyard with Saturn. It kept me sane...

Nope not clear at all. I need to move somewhere else, somewhere there are NO CLOUDS! At least not as many as here in Michigan.

Sounds just like observing from the UK. The winter's the worst time, although we are now getting into better weather here with spring and summer. I got my deep and dark observing fix at TSP last week and made up for all the cloudy weeks before...

Tonight is the night! I will be able to go viewing! Clear sky's; will be a little windy but that's ok. 4 more hours to go.

I like to grind mirrors on those cloudy nights... It helps me do something astronomy related when you cannot capture photons.

It's no better here.

Ever play around at DSS ?
Tour the Southern Skies and revisit some old friends.

Or buy some more astro-stuff. Get a headstart on the New Gear Curse.
