Seeing was poor to say the least as storms rolled through Dallas/Ft Worth last night, but I'm an optimist and decided to capture some of the storm on my new toy.
One image culled from 67, Digital Rebel with the supplied 18-55mm lens set to 18mm. 15 second exposures at ISO800 and F29. You can see the trails from the landing lights of a plane taking off from DFW in the right half of the image. I managed a few rather small-ish bolts in some other frames, but this one stood out as the "wow" image in the bunch.

Thanks, (Just) Ron. I just happened to get lucky, I have the right camera. All hail Sony. Its really great for point and shoot situations, and the view was great. Luckily the birds were cooperating also.
