Congrats Erika!

I really find the use of charcoal (not easy) and your talent to render what you see quite remarkable.

Best,

Wonderful sketch Erika! Congratulations!

These competitions are tough and every entry deserves recognition. CN sure has a lot of fine talent! Thanks to all that participated.

Charcoal sketching can really produce some marvelous results. If you haven't had the chance to read Erika's excellent Charcoal Sketching Tutorial listed in the "Best of the Lunie Bin" in the Lunar Observing forum, check it out. Erika takes you through her approach in a step by step fashion. Her helpful hints and insights make it a must read for folks who'd like to try their hand at charcoal sketching. Almost makes me want to give up my Conte' Crayons and black paper. Seriously, this Bullialdus drawing is one of the finest lunar sketches I've ever seen.

Very well deserved indeed Erika!

Thank you, Michael. I've been enjoying your images very much on the forum. I can't get over how talented you all are with cameras.

Rich and Dee, thank you. That means alot to me coming from my sketching peers.
