I probably would have never thought to do that to an old office chair! Thanks for the article, Jerry.

I cannot argue with the price, but where is the fancy logo? I want a TeleVue or Fuginon one, maybe a Starmaster.

My brother in law Emailed a short time ago after looking at the post. He suggested, while at Office Depot, pick up the multi-color pack of markers. Then it would be easy to sketch in a brand name on the armrest.
I think the big motivation for this was coffee. After having a few cups to stay warm the cafine shakes would come. Proping on the armrest with both arms while looking through the Denk. really is nice.

I just missed a chance to pick up such a chair being discarded by a local office. The thought never crossed my mind.

OK, I can't do zero dollars, but mine is about $4 and it is a bit easier to transport in a car. 4 pieces of wood and you've got a chair that has 3 height positions (mine is set for 12" 16" and 20").

Hey, that was my idea. I even have one with the armrests and mostly, the squeaky back which provides marvelous music in the dead of the night!
Available from downsizing corporations wherever expandable people get fired!
