No wind here, but plenty of cold and almost a foot of snow on the ground...However, at first glance, I knew it would be worth it!...Either things are changing very rapidly or my orientation in TS is off for some reason...I looked at the SOHO image after I viewed and very little jived...The "M" shaped prom on my S limb seemed to be the most active during my viewing, it was too cold to stay out but so long, but forecast sun today should allow me to check it periodically...Another off the NE limb seemed to be expelling large chunks of plasma, that too will be worth watching thru the day...Plenty of wild imaging potential there for sure!....*hint hint*

Well as soon as hit up the local grocery store I'll get out to have a look. Ralph reported good seeing conditions for our area so it looks as if I'll get out there later. Maybe get some afocals.
Great report Stephen an you did a fine job braving the cold!!!

Superb drawing Stephen. Whew a foot of snow. Sounds like the blizzard the Midwest is having. Here it's a little chilly...ahem. Clear skies and about 50 degrees F. I hope things warm up for you very soon. Please keep those wonderfgul drawings coming!

Nobody does! LOLOL...I've found when I zoom and see lots of detail, scale goes out the window...
