      #2246565 - 03/09/08 05:54 PM

Hello folks.
i just recieved a Philips nc900 and a mog adaptor.
i was wondering how you would get a full disk shot?
i'm using a coronado 2x barlow and can only focus on a small part of the sun but would like the whole disk.
i downloaded Registax but havnt tried it yet.
thanks Neil

I use an Atik x0.5 reducer, and have modified the webcam and adapter to allow the image to reach the CCD without a barlow lens. Focal length of about 350mm allows a full disk shot on a 1/3" chip.

Good luck
Robert
