The internet is full of resources of interest to the amateur astronomer. Over in the Lunar Observing forum we have put together a list of links to web sites/pages of use to Lunar Observers that has becomes a large and useful resource. I would like to see such a resource brought into being for this forum as well. Toward that end, I have stuck this post to the top of the forum, and begun our list of online solar observing resources with a link provided recently by David W. Knisely :

Lots of nice links, guys! Thanks.  (My astronomy classes are about to begin studying the Sun--as an average yellow dwarf star--on their way to spectrography and stellar evolution.) As always, I appreciate any help (especially nice resources like this) that I can get!
And, as you may imagine, the kids (high-schools seniors, but still "kids" like the rest of us) love the PST! Lots of ooohs and ahhs!

A fellow whose pictures(when he posts) and 'scopes always impress me enormously is Harald Paleske.It's a surprise to me that nobody else has brought him to attention.

Question about solar viewing, right now I use a 10 inch reflector Dob. I have made an off axis 5 inch hole with the baader film. I can view the sun just fine, in the white yellow color. What I would like to know is, how do I see the fine detail in the red, orange color? Could I use a H-alfa filter at the eyepiece, with the baader film on the end of the scope to get more detail? Please help.. Thank's, Don.
