New Active Region Developing?
      #3317179 - 09/05/09 03:15 PM

After a day of not seeing any sun and just taking in what everyone on here has been up to today I thought I would have a peruse on the BASS2000 site.

Looking at the CaK images 11025 is clearly visible as a bright area, however theres also another bright area visible http://bass2000.obspm.fr/get_file.php?id=206499&zoom=0.5 Looking at their Ha image at larger scale http://bass2000.obspm.fr/get_file.php?&id=206490 it can be seen as a bright area there too. Looking at the images for yesterday on there it wasn't visible.

Could be a transient area of turbulence, could be a new AR forming? Anybody managed to image this area today?
