Hi All,
Just got an email from The Imaging Source about what they call a new camera.
Does anyone know if they are better than the older DMKs.

Hi Rage,
The spec's look the same for the camera so I think the only thing it buys you is a different way to connect the camera. An ethernet cable as opposed to USB or firewire can transmit 100 meters while the usb or firewire can only do about 5. The power would probably have to be supplied directly to the camera from a small transformer instead of through the cable like with the USB or firewire version. If you were doing remote imaging with it or if you wanted to control it over a network it might come in handy but otherwise there is not much difference that I can see.
