Aug07 Imaging Contest Poll (SolarSystem)

We are very pleased and proud to present the August 2007 Beginning Imaging Semi-Finalists in the Imaging/Sketching Contest. The poll will close on August 8 at Midnight. The winner will be announced at our earliest opportunity after the poll has closed.

Here are August's entries!

swalker:



Venus recorded in Ultraviolet light over the course of 5 1/2 months.
Two telescopes used; a 10" f/5 newtonian, and a 12.5" f/5.1 newt.
Cameras used were a Lumenera LU075 and a Imaging Source DMK21AF04.
The images span from January 28 2007 through July 16 for the last image.

This was taken from my backyard Rockhampton Australia. Taken with Canon 30D on a NP101mm refactor. Processed in photoshop.
