M76 looks much darker on Cloudy Nights vs. my computer screen, it's lost a little detail in the outer nebulousity. Yes, I have a ground loop problem. The comparison between your Achro and Apo NGC 253 does not surprise me and you just cannot beat an Apo for very high contast and sharpness quality. I ordered a 70mm Celestron travel scope and a .6x Focal reducer along with a UHC/LPR filter but never put it on the SLT mount to even try it out. That was last fall, lol.
