Is this Astro Art?
      #3406811 - 10/23/09 06:03 PM Attachment (9 downloads)

I've been on Cloudy Nights for years and I have never visited this forum until recently. I'll be back more often.

I have this Lithograph poster from the Hansen Planetarium in Salt Lake City, Utah. (now closed of course)It was used to promote the opening of the Hansen Planetarium production of Galaxies by Timothy Ferris in 1987. It is signed and dated by Mr. Ferris and Kevin Brahney.

It is not for sale you understand. I have several very unique framed posters from the mid 80's produced by The Hansen Planetarium.

Ok, art is in the eye of the beholder but how do you feel?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, this is art.

I also assume we're talking about the same Timothy Ferris who produced Seeing in the Dark?

Thanks for sharing this piece of history.

Yes, "that" Timothy Ferris. I have a copy of his book I hope to someday have him sign.

Most of the prints are just fun colorful framed prints to hang on the wall in the office. Nothing else signed and dated just things to keep the kids interested. (I'm one of the kids).
