blocking filter(BF) question and more questions new
      #3434655 - 11/07/09 12:54 PM

What are the advantages/disadvantages of using the 2" BF 30
on a Coronado 90mm scope (as opposed to BF 15)?

Does the 2" BF 30 make it easier (more stable) to mount a camera?

Are there advantages to imaging with the 2" BF?

it's blocking filter, not backfocus :-)

the number gives the focal length in which you can still see a full disc, i.e. a BF15 will allow you to see full solar disc at 1500mm focal length.
