I did not choose that option because I liked the natural color in this shot. I found the clarity the shot can stand up to a good deal of additional magnification as is.ISO 100 ss80 Thanks for asking. In digital photography, and I love that aspect of it, too much processing can seriously degrade detail. Where is all the stuff from the original that didn't make it to the "enhanced" version? Playing the game with the original photo with minimal processing, namely goosing up the contrast just a little bit, here's my take. A lot of gentle processing is a matter of taste. Also, note well that a great processed picture wholly depends on a truly GREAT original. And Greyhaven has provided us with one! Both of your works are improvements on mine without making it unrecognizable. I'm still very new at real AP , and want to stay as true to the eyepiece view as I can on the Moon. Yours both do, nice work.
