Phil Hosey Taken 10/18/2009 from my backyard near West Point Lake, GA. Stellarvue SV102ED with WO FF/FR II (f/5.6) Canon 450D, self modded. Autoguided with WO SZ70ED and Orion SSAG, PHD. 10 x 4 minutes stacked in DSS with darks and flats. Levels and curves adjusted in Photoshop CS4. Larger image can be found here

jmX Skywatcher Equinox 80 with AstroTech 1.0x flattener Unmodified Canon 50D 21 x 2 minutes (42 minutes total) + Celestron C6N Unmodified Canon 50D 52x60sec (52min total)
The C6N data is used to help add details to the dust lanes, while the widefield image is used for the majority of the image.
