Reged: 08/05/07 Posts: 5449 Loc: Midlothian, VA Jupiter?       #3433554 - 11/06/09 07:06 PM Attachment (20 downloads) Edit   Reply   Quote Quick Reply   Hi, a few nights ago i went out to take some images of jupiter, i read in one of the posts here what setting you should use when imaging Jupiter so i tried it 5FPS -10FPS, Shutter speed 1/100 , Gain umm i had it around 40-50 something like that. the images had a ton of noise and really didn't come out. i got two that look ok i normally have it like this 30fps Gam low around 19 gain around 70 and play around with the brightness a little. why did the 5fps have so much noise? these two photos were taking a few days apart. one 30fps and one 5. both 3x barlow first one 5fps -------------------- Meade ETX-125 Meade LXD55 mount Philips SPC900NC webcam Some Accessories! You will want to shoot as many frames per second as you can.
