I have two reviews I sent in that are yet to be posted. I have a how-to article I'm still working on. I hope it doesn't sit around in an inbox until after the contest is over.

I'm sure that the moderators will get to them in time. I'm willing to bet that they are flooded. And I contributed to that mess, too.

We had some data issues and had to restore from backup. And to top it off, the webmaster is currently unavailable for personal reasons.
When he's available, he'll update.

And, don't worry, the submissions even if not posted will still go into the pool from the entry date. No worries.

Let me throw in here my thanks for creating this review contest!!
As a newbie to active astronomy and Cloudy Nights as well, this contest got me interested in writing a review (perhaps for non-altruistic reasons ) but now that I have written a review or two, I think it's made me a better beginner for really trying to delve into my own reasoning for trying out or purchasing new products and certainly as I strove to make a more cohesive and intelligent review.
Thanks to the organizers here for enticing me and hopefully others to branch out and do something we might not otherwise have done, perhaps in the process discovering a little bit about ourselves as amateur astronomers!
*sap off*
Seriously Thanks! Jake

Thanks for updating us on the situation!
As it is, I have 4 articles submitted (one of which is one of the 4 posted) and 3 more in the works. I REALLY want that telescope!

Just finished and submitted my last 2 articles, which totals 16 articles I've written since beginning of contest.
If I win, the scope will primarily be used for public outreach astronomy. I conduct amateur astronomy demonstrations and star parties for my local natural history museum, but I've been having to make do with using a dob for these demonstrations. A lack of automatic tracking makes these demonstrations difficult, and a general lack of disposable income makes it difficult to obtain such capabilities!

It's not a dumb question. I submitted a review about 3 weeeks ago and still haven't seen it pop up. However, I'm willing to be patient until the weekend. If it hasn't shown up by then I'll resubmit. I know that they have a backlog and it IS a volunteer position...

Please don't re-submit reviews... I am currently posting reviews received on 11/12.
