I liked the slo-mo controls but felt I needed a little "more" - I wanted a panhandle! I found Manny Myles here on CN and he made some nice accessories for me - a panhandle on an extended bracket, a bent bar to rotate & move forward the mounting arm and an eyepiece tray. The bent bar really helps to separate the Alt-Az controls, plus it moves the center of gravity a bit so my set-up is not so back-heavy. The eyepiece tray is two-piece, sandwiching the leg braces and increasing the stability. Manny also made me a simple dovetail bar with a 1/4-20 knob so I can also use the tripod for my DSLR and my Canon binos. (An AT 8" pier extension is just now available, which will make using cameras & binos and longer FR scopes much more comfortable, especially if you're tall like me.) I've attached a photo of the Voyager with the new panhandle & bent bar. Thanks, Manny!
