Universal Astronomics T-Mount.
      05/07/04 01:17 PM

Just a quick note to say that the T-Mount (for my Miyauchi 20/37 x 100) from UA arrived safely today. With typical British timing, it is now raining, so I can't use it as I would wish, but an hour of playing with it on a tripod set up indoors demonstrates what a superb piece of kit it is.

I'll write a full review of it when I have used it "in anger" for a while, but what I can say for now is that dealing with Larry Patriarca from UA has been a pleasure. His advice has been sound and delivery was within a very reasonable time (8 weeks from firm order) for a non-stock item coming across the pond. Dispatch was (through no fault of his own) a few days later than he had initally intended, and he "made it up" to me (entirely of his own volition) by including an extra accessory.

I would also like to thank those of this group whose advice was so valuable when I began investigating mounting options for this binocular.
