Edz is right- what have you got to lose? Study online/search out binocular repair to find what you can- and then see if you can figure out what's wrong- and what you can do to correct it. Could be some inexpensive experience you gain. Nothing ventured- nothing gained. Would love to take apart a pair of binoculars just to play with them- see how they're put together/adjusted, but certainly wouldn't do it with a good pair.
