Hi Wes,
I bought a SARD SD Mark 21 binocular last year--fungus was having a good time living in them! This is an older WWII unit.
Anyway, I did a cut away, as I mentioned once before on the forum. By that I mean, I cut the binocular in two halves. Then, I cut about 45% of the one half away. This left a very nice presentation of EVERYTHING inside.
This project took me five nights to complete the project. Three nights were required just to refine the edges of the metal and the lenses plus the touchup paint. I must say that it came out to be exactly what I had envisioned.
