Adjusting focus on right eyepiece
      08/10/06 01:06 PM

Quick question...

To get the adjustable right eyepiece (diopter) to yield best focus, on most Binoculars....do you guys tack up a sheet of Newspaper, or use some type of testing pattern, that you place a certain distance from your binocular, to really get the right side "dialed-in"??

I just got a new Pentax Papilio (6.5x) Binocular, and I'd like to know what type of "system" you use for getting the right side eyepiece to correctly match the left side. I usually just tack up a newspaper, some distance from the binocular, but I'd like to see if someone has a better Mouse-Trap.

Don
