So many topics & STILL no definite answers...

I've been lurking in the Bino Forum for a LONG time now trying to decide which to get for what I want to view. I've read just about EVERY topic posted within the last 2 months in regards to performance, opitcs, price, etc. Everything was VERY informative and easy to understand, but I'm still no closer to making a purchase decision than I was when I started thinking about getting them .
Here's my criteria:
I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia which is to my south east (right in the Scorpio/Sag region). Obviously I have light pollution, but have access to a few dark sky sites within a 2hr drive. I want to scan the Milky Way, but still be able to capture that occasional DSO from time to time. FOV is not major but would help especially with the Milky Way. My budget is about $700 for bino's & mount, but will sacrifice mount & use the money for a good set of binos. I used to own a pair of ProOptics 100mm, but found I didn't like alot & I mean ALOT of false color and also didn't like the fact that I couldn't see pinpoints to the edge of FOV. I want to be able to see true color variations in stars. I DO NOT want to have interchangable eyepieces, a fixed magnification is fine with me. I think the "Couch Potato Chair" is the ideal mount if I can find the contact info for it. (Yes I saw the "Starchair", but at about $4500, just too darn much!)
So please, HELP ME !!!! I'm stuck in that vicious circle of "unable to make up my mind and just choose one"...
I realize it's alot to ask especially on my budget, and I'm not going to purchase for at least another month or so due to the wife being laid up from a car accident 2 days ago. But once she goes back to work...
