Nice report on upgrading the CST tube. My NS11GPS is carbon fiber and has taken many a bump and still looks as good as new where as a aluminum tube would definately show dents. Honestly Celestron should have kept the the tube on the CPC line carbon fiber. I would have paid the extra hundred or so but I guess they were trying to keep cost down. anyway something for SCT aluminum owners to think about.
