If you are using the standard DC plugs, be aware that most power supplies have center pin as + and outer shell -, but some are the opposite. Depending on how the device is designed, plugging with the wrong polarity can be a minor annoyance or a major disaster. Polarity is usually diagrammed somewhere on the adapter case. (in teeny raised lettering )
